The “effective standard” approach will bring long-term costs, either directly or indirectly. Costs associated with a unique Public Cloud approach include operating cost (OPEX) unpredictable, management complexity, security and lack of control.
The public cloud is a tool, not a strategy. Modern IT organizations use the public cloud as an option within the hybrid IT operational model.
